Children's Ministry Purpose Statement
The purpose of BFCC's Children's Ministry is to make disciples of children, and grow these disciples together in fully expressing love for God and all people.
Elementary Student "CLASH" Program
"CLASH" meets on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. for 9 weeks in the Fall and 9 weeks in the Spring.
CLASH (Children Loving And Serving Him) Is the name for the children's discipleship group for those students that are in first through sixth grades. CLASH meets for a nine-week period in the fall and a nine-week period in the spring on Wednesday evenings, 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. CLASH kids enjoy a time of singing, playing games, learning verses from the Bible, and participating in a year-end reward night and pizza party bash. Each week, kids can earn points (through attendance, bringing their bible, bringing a friend, bible verse memory, etc.) that they can use in the CLASH Store at the end of each nine week session. Sunday School
For ongoing discipleship, we also offer regular elementary-aged Sunday School classes at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. For family convenience, we offer Sunday School classes for all ages at the same time.
Vacation Bible School
At the beginning of each summer the BFCC Ministry of Children's Discipleship runs a week-long Vacation Bible School, generally during the first week of June. This very popular ministry incorporates singing, playing, drama, Bible study, crafts, and play into a cohesive message that kids can understand and apply as they seek to know and follow Jesus. Children ages Kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to participate.
