Youth Ministry Purpose Statement
The purpose of BFCC's Jr. High Youth Ministry is to make disciples of lost youth, and grow them together in fully expressing love for God and all people in five distinct ways:
- celebrating Jesus’ Presence through worship
- communicating Jesus’ Message through evangelism
- connecting in Jesus’ Body through fellowship
- cultivating Jesus’ Life through discipleship
- contributing in Jesus’ Kingdom through service.

Jr. High Fusion Group
Jr.
High Fusion meets on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Students in Jr. High Fusion (7th and 8th grades) spend time together playing games, hanging out in the youth room, invading the candy and refreshment zone, and
studying God's Word to know and encounter Jesus everyday.
Discipleship Classes and Groups
Every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m., a Jr. High discipleship class meets in the downstairs classroom for Bible study and discussion about who Jesus is and how he wants his followers to live. Additionally, there are both guys and gals Jr. High small groups that meet at various times for further encouragment, fellowship, and growth.
Special Fellowship Events
Chi Rho special activities include a Super Bowl party, participation in the "30 Hour Famine", movie nights, and other cool stuff. The students of Chi Rho also support a child from Compassion International. Each week students have an opportunity to donate money to help their sponsored child go to school, get clothes and obtain food. There are also various camps that Jr. High students can attend over the summer, along with partial scholarships provided by BFCC.
