One
act of contributing in service is to encourage men and women who
serve overseas in the military. Care packages are a small way to say
we appreciate their efforts and have not forgotten them in our
prayers. If you have a heart for this ministry please contact Mary
Lou Heller by email or by
phone at 738-3352. Updated addresses and new personnel to be added
from the Mitchell County area may also be sent to Mary Lou.
Below is a list of the military personnel we have sent packages
to, and are praying for regularly:
Sgt. Christopher Brummer, Sgt. Matt Hessenflow, SSG Anthony Harris,
Paul Riedel, SFC Scott Williamson, Sgt. Douglas Clingman, Sgt. BK
Giddings, David Goth, SFC Matthew D. Todd, Sgt. Joshua Griffeth,
SSgt. Brandon Back, Jordan Cousland, Mike Wiss, Jason Robinson,
Jonah Grotz, Brian Emmot, Randall Simmons, Casey Hackett, Cody
Prohaska, Levi Porter, Joseph Botka, Evan Zilliox, Christopher Coco,
Taylor Marsh, Joe Wildfong, David Williams, Paul Moncrief.
All are welcome to help fill boxes--look for announcements for
the next packing day. You may also make some homemade goodies and
drop them off that day, but remember no chocolate. Other ideas
for donations include:
- Granola bars
- Beef jerky
- Fruit chews
- Tootsie Rolls
- Individual containers of pudding
- Individual packages of hot chocolate
- Little Debbie Cakes
- Throw away razors
- Shampoo
- Liquid Soaps

You may put your gifts in the boxes by the front door over the
next few weeks. Thank you for your help!
