This ministry is responsible for the education and equipping of children to grow in their faith and commitment to the Lord’s work, and to grow in fellowship with one another. The current chairperson for this ministry team is Amy Williams (738-2401). Please contact her if you are interested in serving in any of these ways...
- Recruit teachers, leaders, and substitutes for Sunday School.
- Recruit childcare providers for baby nursery (ages birth to 2 years-old) for the Sunday School time.
- Provide training opportunities for teachers and leaders.
- Determine ways to periodically recognize, encourage, and thank teachers, leaders, and substitutes.
- Select and order curriculum and supplies.
- Plan and conduct Promotion Sunday activities for students moving to new classes. Selected classes are traditionally given Bibles as a part of Promotion Sunday.
- Vacation Bible School
- Appoint VBS directors and select dates.
- Approve curriculum for VBS.
- Provide assistance as needed in all aspects of the VBS week.
- CLASH (Children Loving and Serving Him)
- Appoint CLASH director.
- Provide assistance as needed in all aspects of CLASH.
- Promote summer camps and administer camp scholarships.
