Communicating Jesus' Message

This ministry is responsible to plan and administer programs to communicate Jesus' Message of new life to lost sinners, particularly in Beloit and the surrounding area. The current chairperson for this ministry team is Shane Thompson (738-2381). Please contact him if you are interested in serving in any of these ways...

  1. Raise awareness of the Biblical basis, value and need for evangelism by creating and promoting evangelism events.
  2. Equip believers to effectively share the message of Jesus Christ.
    • With the Senior Pastor, help plan sermon series’ focused on evangelism.
    • Plan and implement worship service drama skits that model realistic scenarios for communicating in evangelism.
    • Develop special training events and programs to be offered regularly to the congregation.
    • Offer Sunday School classes on evangelism. Offer small group studies on evangelism.
  3. Develop tools that promote BFCC as an inviting place to discover the truth of Jesus Christ and find connection in His Body, the Church.
    • Maintain and purchase literature for the information center/visitor kiosk in the fellowship hall.
    • Maintain the message of the church sign.
    • Create and maintain the church web site, including video/audio of worship services, sermons, and other content targeted at those who might be seeking a deeper relationship with God.
  4. Lead and participate in opportunities to reach the lost and new area residents
    • Lead and participate in personal follow-up on new residents to the community.
    • Lead and participate in personal follow-up on first and second-time visitors to BFCC worship services.
    • Lead and participate in special outreach events.
