Youth Ministry Purpose Statement

The purpose of BFCC's Sr. High Youth Ministry is to make disciples of lost youth, and grow them together in fully expressing love for God and all people in five distinct ways:

  • celebrating Jesus’ Presence through worship
  • communicating Jesus’ Message through evangelism
  • connecting in Jesus’ Body through fellowship
  • cultivating Jesus’ Life through discipleship
  • contributing in Jesus’ Kingdom through service.

High School Fusion Group

High School Fusion meets on Wednesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Students at Fusion spend time learning how the Word of God applies to their lives today, and growing in friendship with one another. Our youth room includes a snack bar, pool table, ping-pong table, foosball, theater seating and excellent video and sound equipment. All of these are simply tools and means to a greater end: connecting students to Jesus Christ and to one another in God-honoring ways.

Discipleship Classes and Groups

Every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m., a Sr. High discipleship class meets in the upstairs youth room for Bible study and discussion about who Jesus is and how he wants his followers to live. Additionally, there are both guys and gals Sr. High small groups that meet at various times for further encouragment, fellowship, and growth.

Special Fellowship Events

Through-out the year, special get-togethers are held to give our high school youth a chance to make and grow deeper in friendship with one another. In the past, these have included events such as Super Bowl parties, outdoor BBQ’s, movie nights, a spring ski trip to Colorado, and mission trips over the summer.
