Verse of the Day

	Cliff Heagy Senior Pastor cheagy@beloitfcc.org Cliff became Senior Pastor in August 2006. He was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but has lived in Texas, Montana, Colorado, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Kansas. Cliff served churches in full-time ministry for seventeen years before accepting a call here at BFCC. His Biblical and theological training took place at Sterling College, Wheaton Graduate School, and Bethel Seminary. He is married to his awesome wife Laura, and they have three wonderful daughters: Grace (married to her husband Ben Krogh), Abby, and Hannah. Cliff loves to spend time with his family, play basketball, read books (even the kind without pictures!), and watch a wide variety of movies.

	Dave Mealiff Associate Pastor of Caring Ministries dmealiff@beloitfcc.org Dave joined the church staff as Associate Pastor of Caring Ministries in July, 2001. Dave grew up on a farm near Hamilton, Illinois. He graduated with honors from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Agricultural Education. Dave gained ministry experience with the Navigators at several collegiate ministries. Dave and his wife Linda have eight children-- Julie, Pam, Sarah, Daniel, Katie, Kimberly, Elsie and Heidi. You might not know that Dave was the manager of the Farmway Coop Feed Mill before he joined the BFCC staff.

	Arick Johanson Associate Pastor of Youth Ministries ajohanson@beloitfcc.org Arick joined Beloit First Christian Church in December 2010 as the Associate Pastor of Youth Ministries. Arick was born and raised just 45 miles north of Beloit in Superior NE. He is a graduate of Nebraska Christian College and has served churches in Nebraska, Iowa, Washington, and now Kansas. Arick is married to his best friend Kacy, and together they have a son named Mason. Some of Arick’s favorite things include: movie nights with Kacy, play time with Mason, Husker football, hunting, fishing for walleye, playing guitar, and reading (including annual trips to Narnia and Middle Earth).

	Elaine Botka Office Secretary ebotka@beloitfcc.org Elaine has been serving as our friendly and fun-loving secretary since October of 2000. Elaine was raised in Kansas City, Kansas and now calls Beloit home. She is married to Ron and they have two children – Joseph (married to Cassie) and Carol. You might not know that Elaine has a dog named Sam.

	Marilyn Kruse Custodian Marilyn Kruse is our building supervisor. She joined the staff team in February, 2006. Marilyn is married to Pat Kruse and they have three children. Kayla, Cole, and Kalli. Pat works at the Farmway Coop Elevator in Beloit. You may not know that Marilyn is an avid TV sports fan.
